Percentage voting for maps!

Hello! I have an idea. I'm sure most of you are fine with playing maps like Par 72 over and over again, but some of us want variety. SG servers in the past have used percentage voting. This is where one map can have 8 votes, and another map have 1, but the map with only 1 vote still has a chance to be played. I think it will add some variety so all the maps are being played. Also, more maps need to be added, but I already posted a thread about it. (https://backplay.net/threads/bring-in-new-maps.273/). This is just my opinion!

In short, changing the voting system to this just allows for maps that aren't voted for as much to have a chance to be played and not just sit there.

It kinda is boring to play the exact same map over and over again, but still though. Imagine this happening to you, you want to play a map, so you vote for it. It has 8 votes, and the other map has 2 votes. Now, imagine the map with 1 vote winning even though the map you wanted to play had way more votes and that.. This idea, in my opinion is not the best.
There should be something similar to this, but not the exact same. There must be an another way to make every single player satisfied.

I understand your point of view, sometimes is a bit boring when you join a game and you already know that if Par72 or Turbulence are on the vote list you are going to play one of those. Our vote system is based on the old mcsg system, this allows users to play the exact map they are voting for.

Sometimes is good to ask the rest of the players which map they want to play so maybe you can get into a common element and vote for a different or unusual map! Also if you acquire a rank on our server your votes will be different, you can check it here.

MCGamer's vote system wasn't like that. A map with 1 vote was able to win a map with 11 votes.. Their system was kinda weird.
