FILLING A BAN/MUTE APPEAL
Hello everyone, this post will guide on how to write a good ban/mute appeal. Additionally, I will be telling you guys what you should and shouldn't do in your appeal. Let's get started!
Ban/Mute Appeals?
Appeals are for those who think they've been unfairly punished, it helps you to get unpunished on our services. Our appeal system is pretty flexible so if you have been unfairly punished or you admit that you broke the rules in the past, you'll most likely be unpunished.
keep in mind that you might not get unpunished even if you admit that you've broken the rules.
MAKING YOUR APPEAL
- Appeals must be posted here
- All appeals should be titled, “NAME’s - Ban/Mute Appeal” with “NAME” being the username of the account that was banned/muted.
TEMPLATE AND EXPECTED ANSWERS
-All appeals must follow the provided template, which can be found here
Your username: Type your username (in-game name) make sure to put the name of the account that is banned/muted on our platforms.
Platform where you were punished (Minecraft, Discord, Forums): You should type which platform you were punished on, whether it being our discord server or minecraft server.
Who punished you: You need to type which staff member punished you. However if you do not know who punished you, you may leave this blank.
Date when you were punished: Put the date you were banned. Again, if you’re unsure when you were punished, you can leave this blank.
Why do you want to get unpunished?: In this section, you need to explain why you're making this appeal, and why you think your punishment should be lifted. This is probably the most important section of the appeal so make sure you give enough information.
A PROPER APPEAL
- You must use the provided template so that we can obtain all the information that is needed.
- Explain why you got banned and why you think your punishment should be pardoned.
- We understand your frustration, but you may not be disrespectul in your appeal. Be respectful.
- You're expected to be honest in your appeal. Be honest.
- After you're done making appeal, don't ask for it to be checked.
- You should be patient during the process.
In other words...
What Ban/Mute Disputes must contain:
- Honesty
- A respectful attitude
- The correct Template
What Ban/Mute Disputes must not contain:
- Insults and ill-mannered Text
- Not using the template
- Lying in your appeal.
What happens if your appeal gets denied:
-If you got denied on your appeal, that means your punishment won't be lifted. This happens when we think you've broken our server rules. You may appeal again 7 days later.
What happens if your appeal gets moved to investigating:
-That means your appeal is being checked by a member of the senior staff team, they'll message the staff member who punished you and ask for the evidence. After that, they will let you know whether your punishment will be lifted or not. You should be patient in this part of the process.
What happens if your appeal gets accepted:
-Your punishment will be lifted, you're free! Please join the Minecraft / Discord server, and check that your punishment has been unpunished. If not, then message the Senior Moderator that sorted your appeal on the Forums or on Discord.
