Getting combos are really hard on the server, I generally trade hits and never really get something crazy (and neither does the guy I'm fighting)...

So maybe making the hits register faster or modify the kb of the server or something.

Yes the hit detection and knockback needs to be changed ASAP, it's very hard to get combos like you said and it really benefits laggy players

Making the hits detect faster one after another might solve the problem. Also the kb is soo high that when we trade hits, we just fly 10 block away from eachother. If I could knock my oponent up in the air slightly more, he will get less reach cuz he'll go high ground. Also the 2015/16 mcsg kb was perfect. Watch huahwi fornitude montage, that's the kb I'm talking about.

Even though I'm a moderator I do still play SG quite often. I definitely faced people who would give me an immense amount of knockback while I would be hitting them and it would look like they have no knockback pretty much xd

I always thought it had something to do with my ping since I have 100+ ping on EU (Yes I am EU). Nevertheless, it definitely does play a role that my ping is incredibly bad but I do agree with you as well, getting combos where you destroy your opponent is quite rare. I mean at the end of the day that could be a good and a bad thing.

I agree the knockback and hit register needs to be worked on, it's very rare for me to get combos on a player and I have relatively low ping (30 ms). The player with higher ping has a higher chance of getting a combo on trade hits.

I agree with what your saying, although I don't really see it being a bad thing. Here are some things to prove my point:

- killing teams is kind of impossible unless you get something crazy...

- killing a person more stacked that you is impossible unless you get something crazy

- trading hits is honestly not as fun as getting something crazy

- you can't really do anything against rod spammers unless you get something crazy

Also the rod deals waay too much backwards kb (this can help players that run for ever). The rod should deal kb upwards more than backwards. Nowadays pot papers are taking over, with the current kb defeating them is really hard, thell just keep rodding and thell keep u far away from them (I did defeat aquaflare once but that was just cuz of 1 double hit that I had gotten).

Changing the rod kb will do nothing, it's the vertical and horizontal kb players take that needs to be changed, and hit registery is not improved by making it faster, its improving on how hits connect to the other player

As much as I like a challenge I do agree it is really hard to face a 2 team, especially since nowadays people have evolved in pvp. Literally feels like I am playing against gods even tho I am Jesus (Kappa). Anyway, we will see what the future holds and hopefully the hit registry system changes.

I agree with you, but it does seem like the hits are registering quite slow, kind of seems like they are buffered, this may be the AntiCheat's fault. I guess that's why he said that making them faster would solve the problem.

Honestly, my suggestion is to completely remove everything that has to do anything with hit registration or knockback and start from scratch. Do a lot of mini tests to see what the people that are known for being good think. Your average Joe is not going to notice a difference.

For real, for real. I do like to think of myself as an old head and damn, before in SG you might get 2-3 people who are decent. Nowadays 5-10 people who kill it.

I can honestly feel the difference, when i go to mmc the hits register soo fast. On backplay it has this weird delay thing
I wasn't saying that you are an average Joe :D, hits are definitely different on Backplay, delayed or as I said somehow buffered, that's for sure. I meant to say that the people that feel the difference should be giving input on how to modify the knockback, hits etc.

kb needs to be adjusted, dont ask me how because i dont know how it works.
and yes hit detection needs to be faster
